Wholesale Area Manager France/ Benelux/ Spain & Portugal

Moncler is looking for a Wholesale Area Manager France, Benelux, Spain & Portugal to join the dynamic and International EMEA Corporate Office teams located in Paris.


Reporting to the Wholesale Manager in charge of the same area, the role will be responsible of maximizing Moncler collections in the market within the KPI's set by the management, developing new and existing business and maintaining key relationships across wholesale accounts (Buyers, Department Stores, Travel Retail and E-Tailers) in line with company’s positioning and country characteristics. 




Main responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor market and sales providing input to the company
  • Support sales policies definition
  • Contribute to define the company’s sales budget plan, evaluating the actual and future needs of the area and propose/draft sales forecasts, in line with company strategy
  • Develop new and existing business and maintaining key relationships across wholesale accounts (in line with company’s positioning and country characteristics)
  • Manage sales campaign four times a year in Milan Show-room: manage and drive clients and seasonal sellers to reach sales targets
  • Manage orders, dealing with customer issues when needed (deliveries, payments, replacements etc)
  • Manage promotion activities at the customers and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
  • Schedule regular visits to accounts to perform product knowledge training
  • Ensure all clients adhere to the merchandising guidelines as set out at the beginning of the sales campaign ensuring both the quantitative and qualitative elements of the budgets are reached
  • Partner with Marketing to roll-out Genius campaign on a monthly basis in line with launches
  • Partner with VM to execute Main and Genius pop-ups, installations and takeovers 


This position requires, in a normal context, to be flexible for spending yearly between 8 to 10 weeks in Milan during the different selling and availability for travelling frequently in the area.


Required Skills:

  • Around 5 years of Wholesale experience within a Luxury leading brand
  • Solid product knowledge and strong luxury feeling. Experience expected in Luxury womenswear, menswear & accessories.
  • Proven track record in sales and in establishing relationships with key accounts
  • Deep knowledge of the French market, experience on Benelux, Spain or Portugal
  • Excellent reporting and analytic skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, confidence to challenge
  • Willingness to travel extensively (driving license is required)
  • Sophisticated communication skills in English & France. Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese would be a plus.
