Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising (STONE ISLAND)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising for Stone Island Americas will provide direction and development to the regional Visual Merchandising department, supporting initiatives within the Retail and Wholesale divisions in the US, Canada and Mexico. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand image and driving sales through compelling and innovative visual displays. Reporting directly to the regional President, you will lead the department to ensure that our retail environments reflect the DNA of our brand while maximizing the customer experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE
- Develop and execute the overall visual merchandising strategy in alignment with the brand's identity, global directives, seasonal themes, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines, standards, and budgets across all
- retail and wholesale locations, conducting regular store visits and providing feedback to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Organize and merchandise the collections in the New York showroom each season and work with the Marketing team to prepare press days and ensure all merchandise is well presented.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP AND ANALYTICS
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail and Wholesale to drive visual merchandising initiatives and enhance the retail and Wholesale experience for the customers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Wholesale, and Retail Operations to ensure consistency in brand messaging and product presentation.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives through sales analysis, customer feedback, and industry and local trends, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Manage the set-up of store openings/renovations and special events within the region, keeping in-line with the visual guidelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with VM external partners to increase the visibility and positioning of the Brand.
- Effectively identify and communicate VM opportunities across the region to the regional President and HQ partners.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Responsible for providing input and partnering with Finance to build, control, and maintain the budget for the department.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Management, or relevant field. In lieu of a degree, relevant years of experience is acceptable.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of retail visual merchandising experience within an international fashion brand supporting Retail and Wholesale networks.
- Luxury experience is a plus.

Stone Island includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $100,000.00 per year to $120,000.00 per year. In addition to a competitive base salary, the appointed candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/clothing allowance, paid holidays, accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation time, 2 personal days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
