Director of Wholesale Excellence

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Moncler is in search of a Director of Wholesale Excellence to work within the Wholesale and Partnerships division and oversee the in-store sales, marketing, shop development and digital experience of the brand in all third-party points of distribution. This position will serve as the primary liaison between the Moncler Wholesale and Partnerships team and the Marketing, Store Projects Development, HQ Digital, Visual Merchandising, CRM, and training functions within Moncler and with the marketing, digital, store and department managers with our Wholesale partners. This position will report to the VP of Wholesale.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning and Execution

Develop, budget, execute, and report on third-party partner activation programs, ensuring alignment with the brand calendar across digital, print, social, visual, CRM, and in-store channels while respecting Brand DNA.

Support the Vice President of Wholesale in analyzing the partnerships business and launching new partnerships.
Digital Strategy and Performance

Own the digital experience and sales performance of U.S. and Canadian third-party distribution partners, including Wholesale and Marketplace points of sale.

Oversee the Marketplace business and manage the Digital Marketplace Specialist.
Account and Sales Growth

Collaborate with Wholesale Merchandising, Sales, Wholesale Operations, Account Executives, and Wholesale Planning to drive in-store and digital activities aimed at achieving account growth targets.

Maximize sales potential for each point of distribution by defining micro-market action plans, ensuring seasonal assortments align with partner and brand needs.

Monitor competitor activity and in-store programs to stay competitive and relevant.

Drive and achieve sell-out plans across all North American points of distribution.
Team

Serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions and engagements.

Manage, coach, and develop direct reports to achieve team, department, and Company objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, merchandising, or relevant field.
Work Experience
-
7-10 years Wholesale (Sales) or Merchandising experience, with proven track record of managing department store accounts and understanding of local consumer trends.
Special Skills and Personal Attributes

Strong relationship building capabilities with Department stores.

Experience opening Hard and Soft Shops within Department stores.

Drop-ship marketplace and digital experience preferred.

Familiarity with major US and Canadian retailers.

Knowledge of Mirakl, EDI, Skypad and Stealth inventory and tracking system a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, accrue up to 15 days of paid vacation time, 2 personal days, employee discounts (Moncler and Stone Island), and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
