Central Stock Allocator

The Retail Allocator is responsible for allocating and replenishing merchandise from central to the regional warehouse with the pursuit of getting the products at the right time in the right place to support the sales objectives

 

Key Accountabilities

 

- manage special projects allocation and replenishment strategies in collaboration with the regional Allocation and Retail Operation Team;

- evaluate the stock level of special items and manage the entire ordering process;

- execute Initial Allocation and Replenishment of seasonal items from central to regional warehouses daily;

- monitor the stock at store and regional warehouses level in order to address and fulfill transfer requests;

- work with regional buyers and regional allocators to understand market priorities in order to place the Initial Allocation order;

- work with the Operation and Logistic team to monitor the launch in production and understand the lead time and delivery schedule;

- ensure the correct balance of the stock at WW level based on sales and distribution plan;

- work with the regional team to adjust and revise the coverage target set at each level of distribution (target stock level).

 

Key requirements

 

- degree in engineering, economics, or related fields;

- 4/5+ years experience

- omnichannel mindset;

- commercial awareness and strong analytical skills;

- the ability to plan and prioritize and work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency;

- knowledge of Retail logistics and distribution process;

- knowledge of the main KPIs for distribution;

- detail-oriented, extreme accuracy and precision;

- windows and Excell skills are required, MicroStrategy Knowledge is a plus;

- fluent in Italian and English.
