We are looking for a Fabric Research Developer to focus on Moncler' Fabrics Research in our Global HQ in Milan, Italy.

 

 

Your impact:

 

 

The Fabric Research Developer will join our Fabric Research Team, reporting to the Director of Fabric Research & Development. We are looking for a candidate with a previous experience gained in luxury & fashion contexts.

 

 

The Fabric Research Developer will be responsible in identifying the best fabric and embroidery to create the designs, contributing and inputting ideas to the design team. We are seeking a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative. Being engaged in cultivating meaningful relationships with teammates and other internal stakeholders, through communication and collaboration, is paramount. Interest and attention to trends and best practices are fundamental assets.

 

 

Activities:

 

 

  • Working closely with other members of Development and Production teams to support project development according to the seasonal structure that led to on-time delivery of fabrics and trims
  • Reviews and maintains the department’s fabric library to ensure this is kept up to date
  • Building and consolidating relationships with our suppliers for pricing, terms of delivery, technical sheets and availability of materials and colours
  • Create fabric sheets
  • Research colours for colour cards

 

 

Main Qualifications:

 

 

  • 6 years’ experience in working with design teams or in similar roles
  • English & Italian
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build meaningful relations across multiple departments

 

 

We Would appreciate a Person That Is:

 

 

 

  • A determined, agile, self-starter with a positive, engaging and creative approach to work and surroundings
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous experience working in a middle-to-large sized company and collaborating with different teams is nice to have
  • Data-driven and analytical, comfortable with a KPI focused approach
