Field Trainer France Belgique & Genève

Moncler is looking for a Field Trainer based in Paris to join our EMEA Retail Training team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FIELD TRAINING AND IN-STORE COACHING

  • Reporting to the Retail Training Manager EMEA and part of the Retail Training team, your key focus will be the France, Belgium & Geneva retail network, developing the retail teams through training and coaching on the floor.
  • Develops training strategy tailored to needs and observations
  • Provide on-going feedback to Retail Training Manager, Area Manager, Store Managers, Department Managers on the performance/progress of individual team members
  • Drive key training initiatives, e.g. Service Experience trainings, Floor management workshop, Product launches, contributing to the culture of shop-floor focus and positive recognition
  • In collaboration with the Buying team, actively facilitate product trainings, including new launches, for the store population. Develop styling skills, combining product information with selling skills in order to optimize cross-selling.
  • Manage and monitor the quality and impact of all in-store training via follow up, partnering with the Store Management team, maintaining an active shop floor presence to observe subsequent implementation and ensure true retention of training contents. Ensures proper induction of all new starters
  • Ensures a consistent Induction for all new starters, including Managers and Managers In Training
  • Take supervision about all induction steps of new comers
  • You will support the stores in coaching their teams on selling skills through Coaching the Coach
  • Ensure regular liaison with trainees, giving feedback on progress to the individual, their Manager during their induction

 

COMPETENCIES:            

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with proven ability to develop teams – preferably in a luxury retail setting
  • Experience in Training and Coaching
  • Experience in Team Management in Retail or other Client-oriented environments
  • Ability to perform behavioural analysis and source creative solutions to drive change
  • Ability to determine behaviours to drive KPI results desired/achieved
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Understanding of adult learning concepts and adaptation of skill as needed
  • Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and PC devices
  • French and English spoken and written
