POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a key member of the Store Planning team, the Store Planning and Facilities Coordinator proactively supports all repair and maintenance activities for Moncler Group Americas (Moncler and Stone Island). Reporting to the Director of Projects, this role ensures the Moncler Group Americas retail, and corporate environments are maintained to the highest standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. The scope of properties includes direct operation stores, outlets, wholesale accounts, corporate offices, and showrooms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management

  • Develop, communicate, and implement project schedules.
  • Provide project management support throughout the entire project life cycle, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and budget constraints.
  • Prepare visual documentation to support site visits, incorporating photographs, hand sketches, annotations on construction documents, and developing surveys as needed.
  • Research and procure long lead materials for construction, including specified millwork, lighting, door hardware, and other items.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of meeting minutes, owner change orders, and requests for information.
  • Coordinate solicitation and management of pricing and vendor proposals. Receive and evaluate construction bids for comparison.
  • Oversee the secure delivery of materials and services.
  • Support with construction administration duties.

Administration

  • Organization of site photographs.
  • Create change orders, manage goods receipts, and maintain a weekly tracking log.
  • Ensure invoices accurately reflect contractual amounts and oversee adherence to payment schedules.

Team

  • Perform as a team player and participate in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the department.
  • Contribute to and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain a high-level standard of customer service, professionalism, and ethics.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required and communicated by management and/or the Company.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 2+ years in a relevant construction, architecture, or facilities capacity is required.
  • Experience in retail, luxury retail, or a commercial setting is preferred.

Special Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Aspiration to develop a career in project management.
  • Knowledge of complex HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Technologically adept with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Cad and photoshop knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Client-centric individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional presentation; able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all employees, and management, as well vendors, and contractors.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and motivated attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize urgent and critical tasks.
  • Operationally efficient and able to enhance processes and systems to optimize team and business outcomes.
  • Physical ability to perform occasional lifting and moving of equipment or supplies as needed.
  • Fluency in Italian a plus but not required.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making. compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $28.00 to $36.00 per hour (eligible for overtime).

In addition to a competitive base salary, the appointed candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
