E-commerce Activation Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:  

The E-commerce Implementation Manager for Moncler is responsible for the implementation of regional in-house digital commerce platform, in order to maximize online sales in the United States and Canada and deliver an elevated and best-in-class online shopping experience. The Manager will deliver this in partnership and coordination with global HQ and with regional stakeholders such as Finance, Buying & Planning, IT, Marketing & Communications, HR and Logistics as well as external vendors. It includes strengthening the site experience and performance, broadening localized service offerings and driving strategic development initiatives while being responsible for a wide range of diverse activities centered on our online client experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute the Americas e-commerce experience, including the operational set-up and ongoing business management, in partnership with HQ
  • Migration of e-commerce from existing 3rd party management to in house, followed by implementation of Moncler owned and operated website
  • Monitor on a daily basis traffic volume, user behaviors, and key website metrics for site performance
  • Provide analytical input to the buying and allocation strategy, ensuring appropriate merchandising assortment
  • Recommend performance marketing opportunities and sales-driving development activities; making recommendations for experimentation, targeting efforts and segmentation based on strong data analysis
  • Support HQ in the implementation of SEO and social media plans to drive traffic to Moncler’s e-commerce site, in collaboration with global Digital and Marketing & Communications teams
  • Secure delivery and analysis of recurring reporting to identify actions needed to improve performance
  • Manage the implementation of any new e-commerce technology integrations (e.g. order management system, CRM, user reviews, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance of relevant Americas operating requirements (accessibility, fraud protection services, taxation, compliance) in partnership with Finance and Legal
  • Liaise with HQ, Operations, Client Services and Finance teams on business forecasting
  • Maintain oversight over regional E-Commerce budget
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of progressive work experience in digital commerce; Americas e-commerce experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com Commerce platform
  • Working knowledge of OMS and WMS flows
  • Experience with user-generated content
  • Knowledge of and experience with search, paid social, paid shopping and affiliate programs a plus
  • Data driven and tech savvy with a strength in analyzing data and formulating business recommendations
  • Knowledge of local compliance requirements, especially in the US and Canada
  • Proactive and action-oriented mindset
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics
  • Strong project leadership skills
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and exude positive energy

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work based on business demands, which may go beyond corporate working hours
  • Must have authorization to work in the US

 

This position is classified as exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New York Labor Law, as this employee’s primary duties consist of the performance of office or non-manual field work directly related to management policies and/or general operations.  Moreover, it is expected of this position that the employee will customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment, utilizing his or her training, experience, and knowledge.
