Director of Omnichannel Training & Development


The Director of Omnichannel Training & Development is responsible for the development and execution of the Omnichannel training strategy of the brand in the Americas. The role ensures the activation of this strategy in partnership with cross-functional partners with the goal of driving quality sales, employee development and creating a consistent client experience across Retail, Client Services/E-Commerce and Wholesale while ensuring alignment on a global level. The role will lead a team of Regional Training & Development Managers.




  • Drives a holistic training and development strategy that delivers measurable results while creating a consistent client experience across Retail, Client Services/E-Commerce, and Wholesale across the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico & Brazil) in line with global training initiatives and strategies
  • Designs and implements sales training strategies to support delivery of key KPIs, inclusive of sales, with particular focus on clientelling and outreach
  • Works to enhance and refine the ability of Moncler sales staff to reach, develop and expand client relations to achieve and exceed sales targets, as needed, and in partnership with CRM team
  • Ensures coaching re the performance of store management teams, in collaboration with Regional leaders, to maximize and best leverage the individual talents of their store and/or region
  • Owns the Retail employee brand lifecycle, in partnership with HR and management, including the successful induction, growth and development of employees
  • Implements content that amplifies both product and the client experience and brings the brand to life across all channels
  • Regularly assesses skill gaps and themes of the Retail organization, implementing strategies to address gaps and organizational opportunities
  • Partners with Wholesale brand management team on design and execution of brand and product learning experiences
  • Designs and/or implements progressive universal learning tools that can be applied to new and existing markets while leveraging existing global and regional resources
  • Ensures the execution of Omnichannel training, with specific attention to in store e-commerce, in all Retail locations with focus on incorporating into Moncler’s selling ceremony, ultimately driving sales
  • Provides 360 T&D progress reports with action plans based on results; partners with Regional Directors and HR on implementation of action plan as needed
  • Partners with HQ and the VP Retail on the Client Experience (aka Mystery Shopping) program, with focus on growth in areas of opportunity as identified in the results 
  • Sets agenda on rollout for Retail and Wholesale tools in partnership with each function and IT teams regionally and with HQ
  • Ensures the Corporate Omnichannel functions have the skills and tools needed to effectively support field-based Retail and Wholesale employees
  • Partners closely with HR team to drive employee engagement across retail and corporate employees
  • Partner with HR team in driving Diversity & Inclusion, assist in on-going development of training modules
  • Actively collaborates with the WW Omnichannel Training  team in the creation of global initiatives


  • Manages, tracks and adheres to Americas Training budget, including T&E, as provided


  • Leads and effectively manages the performance of a regional training and development team
  • Stays up to date in key market trends and technologies that are used in support of engaging clients and employees to support seamless shopping and discovery interactions
