Merchandising Assistant

In this role, you will support the Merchandising Manager in overseeing the business by optimizing the collections to fully address market opportunities in alignment with company brand image and positioning.

Responsibilities:

- Weekly reporting on sales, best sellers and sell-through analysis.

- Carry out analysis, reports and presentations on sell in and sell out, strengths and weaknesses of current and past collections. Highlight and comment on business trends.

- Follow up with the collection plan and its progress.
- Market and competitor's analysis in terms of product and pricing positioning in the different markets.
- Collaborate proactively with other departments (Operations, Planning, Buying, Marketing & Communication, Customer Service)

 

Requirements:


- Degree in Economics and Business

- 3 years of experience in merchandising or buying departments

- passion and sensitivity for luxury product;

- strong analytical skills from a quantitative and qualitative point of view;

- commercial sense and knowledge of consumer/fashion trends;

- team player, able to build positive relationships with others and partner at all levels of  the organization in a global company;

- ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;

- willingness to travel abroad.
