Digital Commerce Planner & Analyst Coordinator


The Digital Planner and Analyst Coordinator contributes to the growth of the e-commerce business by owning the planning of the Seasonal and Permanent (never out of stock) assortment on the website for Europe, trading in 31 countries, North America, Japan, China and Korea.
Reporting to the Digital Commerce Buying Manager, this role is expected to provide buying and sales analysis for e-commerce and support fact-based decision making to maximize investments’ profitability in accordance with the worldwide merchandising guidelines.
The position will provide strategic and operational support to the e-commerce buying and merchandising team fostering a culture of simplification, innovation and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities
•    Partner with the Digital Commerce Director to plan yearly Sales and Forecasts through analysis of key trends and online sales drivers
•    Strategically define the product investments and reassortments for all lines and categories, monitoring in-season performance against financial targets for omnichannel, across all regions
•    Build and interpret business, sales and merchandising analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, in partnership with the Digital Intelligence


Preliminary Activities
•    Work together with Financial dept. and Digital Commerce Director to define yearly sales plan as well as re-forecasts
•    Define the seasonal purchase plan (OTB) by store, gender, line and product category following sell-through objectives, partnering with Digital Commerce Buying team
•    Support buyers in developing the store assortment planning in terms of SKUs, functions of use, average prices
•    Grant coherence and updates between all planning and buying systems data


In-season Activities
•    Provide buyers with seasonal/carry over reassortment suggestions according to sales trends and omnichannel services performance
•    Manage the Permanent stock levels through replenishments and proactive top-ups, ensuring timely inbound and obsolete product phase out, maintaining the revenue stream
•    Deliver best practice in stock cover monitoring, best and slow sellers management as well as ad hoc merchandising and sales analysis
•    Coordinate Regional Allocators to ensure the appropriate local warehouse levels of stock
•    Partner with Digital intelligence team to ensure data-accuracy and reporting efficiencies
•    Collaborate with the rest of the Digital team to support on-site marketing and social commerce initiatives


Professional background/ Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field
•    3+ years working experience in retail/e-commerce planning and assortment management
•    Strong analytical mindset and financial acumen, detail and numbers oriented
•    Knowledge of key financial drivers and Omnichannel KPIs
•    Advanced computer skills in Excel and retail planning systems (i.e. TXT), basic MicroStrategy is a plus
•    Experience of working with a global company/brand
•    Excellent communication, presentation and deadline-management abilities. Positive and adaptable attitude
•    Fluency in English, a second language is a plus
