OVERVIEW:
This individual will be responsible for omnichannel sales accounting, including daily recording and reconciliation of company revenues and respective receivables. This individual will work with credit card companies and other thirds parties involved in the process to resolve customer disputes and chargebacks. This is a junior to associate level role.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Act as a liaison between accounting and brick-and-mortar/e-commerce retail
  • Perform daily sales audit between POS systems/E-commerce platform and Finance system (SAP)
  • Reconcile respective cash, card terminal settlements, receivables/customer accounts and liability accounts on a daily basis
  • Manage and appropriately allocate petty cash expenses per Group policy
  • Document and resolve accounting discrepancies or disputes associated with sales related transactions
  • Support with maintaining sufficient level of store supplies and efficient processes
  • Provide required information from Merchant Processors to successfully defend chargebacks
  • Prepare and archive monthly reports on sales, discrepancies, chargebacks, credit card fees, and analyses
  • Communicate weekly cash activities and shortage reports
  • Assist in month end closing, including recording general accounting entries
  • Manage record keeping and archiving of all sales related accounting documents
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Manage and respond to all audit requests, work with external, internal, and government auditors on supporting information requirements
  • Ensure that deadlines are effectively managed and met

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, business or equivalent work experience
  • Must have strong work ethics, willingness to learn, and ability to follow standard filing procedures
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of financial and operational controls
  • Good communication skills for communicating with retail teams, stores, co- workers and senior colleagues
  • Ability to interact with employees and banks in a professional manner
  • Ability to speak and write English (Italian is a +)
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing and high-volume environment
  • Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the USA

Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $58,500 per year to $62,000 per year.
